Apply For Rotaract Board 2017/18

The Rotaract Club of Armstrong State University, Savannah was established on February 16, 2017. In the same month, the organization received its charter document from Rotary International and was registered as a Recognized Student Organization (RSO) at Armstrong State University. Since then, we have leaped into the hands of success and community service with each day.

The Inaugural Installation Ceremony took place in the month of November in 2016. Dr. Linda Bleicken, President of the Armstrong State University who is a Rotarian herself attended the installation as the Guest Speaker. She shared her experience as a Rotarian and how excited she is to establish a Rotaract chapter at Armstrong. It was an evening full of fellowship and Rotary understanding.

Since then, we’ve done great things in the community including taking part in volunteer programs and professionally developing the network of our members through business leaders in our close neighborhood. With the support of our sponsoring club, the Rotary Club of Savannah South, we’ve connected to the umbrella of Rotary around the world. We’ve fed the homeless, clothed the poor, supported sustainability, engaged students and community, developed a friendship, and grown our members to the world.

Since the academic year for 2016-17 is coming to a close, we’ve opened up applications to the Armstrong Rotaract Board. If you’re a passionate, committed, community-oriented leader who would like to provide leadership the club, you’re welcome to apply.
